Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED; college transcript accepted in lieu of diploma
• Associate’s degree or 60 hours from an accredited college or university preferred
• Certification in Child Care preferred
• Minimum of 1 year of childcare experience, required
• Minimum of 1 year of management and supervisory experience, required
• Proficient in MS Office
• Strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills
• Ability to handle stressful situations, multi-task and meet deadlines

Responsibilities

• Create a safe, inviting educational environment with age-appropriate enrichment and activities
• Coordinate programs and activities for field trips and full-day events
• Communicate clearly with parents about children and programs
• Coordinate with campus administration to align with climate and procedures
• Recruit students to maintain minimum enrollment
• Maintain accurate student and staff records with discretion and confidentiality
• Promote the program within district, school, and community
• Utilize technology for payroll, vendor payments, and site orders
