Job summary

Right At School is seeking a Part Time Educator to support Montgomery County Intermediate Unit 23 programs. You will assist daily activities, lead curriculum-aligned tasks, and help create a safe, engaging environment for children.

Ideal candidates have at least 1 year of child experience, can lift 25 lbs, and are committed to inspiring a love of learning. The role offers flexible, part-time hours with a focus on safety and joyful learning in after-school settings.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of experience working with children under 13 years old.
• Ability to lift 25 lbs.
• Meets Pennsylvania state requirements (First Aid/CPR in person, TB test, 18+).
• HS Diploma / GED with child-ed related credits or hours, or ArHS diploma with related experience.

Responsibilities

• Daily Program Meetings: review goals, updates, and progress; foster collaboration and accountability.
• Organize and lead structured daily activities and curriculum aligned with program objectives.
• Lead by example with a safe, nurturing environment and positive guidance.
• Prioritize safety and joy; monitor environment and document attendance/incidents.
• Communicate effectively with children, parents, staff, and school personnel.
