Job summary

Right At School is hiring an Educator to support before and after school programs in local districts. You will lead daily activities, organize curriculum, ensure safety, and create a welcoming, energetic space for children.

The ideal candidate has at least one year of child experience, can lift 25 lbs, and embraces healthy living. Shifts are 6:30-8:30am and 3:30-6:30pm, up to 25 hours weekly, Monday through Friday. Benefits offered.

Qualifications

• Must meet Pennsylvania state requirements as listed in the ad.
• First Aid and CPR in-person.
• Cleared tuberculosis test.
• 18+ years of age.
• HS Diploma / GED with 30 college credits in early childhood ed, child dev, special ed, elementary ed, or human services field.
• OR HS Diploma / GED with 600+ hours of secondary training.
• OR HS Diploma / GED with 15 credit hours in early childhood ed, child dev, special ed, elementary ed, or human services field and 1 year of experience.
• OR HS Diploma / GED and 2 years experience.

Responsibilities

• Daily Program Meetings: review goals, updates, and progress with the team.
• Organize and Facilitate Daily Activities: prepare activities and curriculum for the day.
• Leading by Example: maintain a safe and nurturing environment.
• Prioritize Safety and Joy: monitor environment and follow safety protocols.
• Communication: effectively communicate with children, parents, staff, and school personnel.
