Job summary

Henry Ford Health is seeking a Patient Registration Rep for a part-time afternoon shift. You will greet patients, verify insurance, collect payments, and update registration and insurance data to ensure a smooth care journey.

You will respond to inquiries, perform new patient registrations, and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment, supporting both clinical and non-clinical teams.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Strong computer skills and working knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
• Ability to meet or exceed customer service standards over the phone, in person, and in writing.

Responsibilities

• Greet and check in patients face-to-face, ensuring a warm and welcoming experience.
• Verify insurance eligibility and collect payments, maintaining accuracy and efficiency.
• Update patient registration and insurance information in our systems.
• Respond to inquiries from callers and customers, advocating on their behalf.
• Perform new patient registration and preregistration tasks.
