Boys & Girls Clubs of Lanier in Mount Airy, GA, seeks a part-time Youth Development Professional (PT) to plan and supervise engaging youth activities after school. The role emphasizes safety, positive role modeling, and collaborative work with staff and families.

The position requires a high school diploma or GED, CPR/First Aid certification, and the ability to work 2:00 pm–6:30 pm during August through May. Prior experience with children is preferred.

Qualificações

• High school diploma or GED required.
• CPR/First Aid certification required and provided by the organization.
• Fingerprint background check and drug screening required.
• 18+ for 21st CCLC and DHS programs.
• 1–12 months of experience working with children preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Create a safe, welcoming, and engaging environment that promotes positive youth development and encourages program participation.
• Plan and lead age-appropriate programs, services, and activities for youth.
• Provide guidance and positive role modeling for youth individually and in groups.
• Maintain active supervision and follow safety procedures and BGCL policies.
• Communicate effectively with youth, staff, families, and partners.
