Job summary

Think Together is seeking a Substitute Program Leader to support students at various sites across the region. This part-time role involves supervising students, providing homework help, enrichment activities, and promoting a safe, respectful environment.

You will work between 1:00 PM and 6:00 PM on weekdays, with assignments based on availability. Requirements include high school diploma or GED, 48 college units or 60 quarter units or passing a district test, and strong English communication.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• 48 college units or 60 quarter units or passing an Instructional Aide Test may be required.
• Ability to speak and write standard English.

Responsibilities

• Provide homework help, enrichment and physical activity using provided curriculum.
• Create an engaging environment fostering a sense of belonging.
• Support students in positive behavior choices and disciplinary actions when needed.
• Engage children by following lesson plans and assisting in activities.
• Ensure student safety during setup, cleanup and site maintenance.
• Promote positive interactions between volunteers and students.
• Maintain attendance and sign-in/sign-outs for students and volunteers.
• Identify student needs and communicate with Site Coordinator and staff.
• Commit to a full-year program by arriving on time daily and completing time cards.
• Participate in staff development activities.
