Job summary

Think Together is seeking Part-Time Substitute Program Leaders who will work at multiple sites within the region. You will support students with homework, enrichment activities, and physical activity while maintaining a safe, engaging environment.

Responsibilities include following lesson plans, supervising behavior, ensuring safety, and communicating needs to site staff. Requires HS diploma and English proficiency; availability Mon-Fri 1:00 PM–6:00 PM; Live Scan and TB tests may apply.

Qualifications

• Proof of graduation from High School or GED.
• 48 college semester or 60 college quarter units required or by passing an Instructional Aide Test as applicable.
• Must be able to speak and write standard English for a public school setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide homework help, enrichment and physical activity using provided curriculum.
• Create an engaging environment that fosters belonging for students.
• Support students in positive behavior choices and enforce discipline when needed.
• Engage children by following and assisting with lesson plans.
• Ensure student safety during setup, breakdown and site maintenance.
• Promote positive interactions between volunteers and students per safety guidelines.
• Take attendance, manage sign-in/sign-out and monitor student/volunteer safety.
• Identify student needs and communicate with Site Coordinator, teachers, and parents as appropriate.
• Commit to a full-year program with punctuality and accurate timekeeping.
• Participate in staff development activities.
