Job summary

Innovation Learning Inc. is seeking a Resilience Coach for a part-time position at our Hartland, Wisconsin site. The role focuses on mentorship, enrichment, recreation, and academic support, helping students build life skills in a safe, engaging environment.

The position requires Monday–Friday availability from 2:25 PM to 5:30 PM with potential additional hours. CPR/First Aid certification preferred. Pay is $20–$23 per hour, based on experience and region.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience with children in schools, childcare programs, camps, recreation programs, or youth organizations preferred.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
• CPR/First Aid certification preferred or willingness to obtain.
• Wisconsin state qualifications: 18+ with 240 hours of licensed childcare experience and one of the listed options.

Location: School-Based Program Site - Swallow School District in Hartland, WI

Reports To: Head Coach/Site Leadership

Schedule: Part-Time (Before & After School Programs, School Breaks, and Summer Programs)

At this time, we are looking for a candidate who is available to work Monday-Friday: 2:25PM-5:30PM with potential additional hours available earlier in the day or until closing (6PM).

We are looking for candidates who are available to work all five days of the week.

Pay: $20-23/hour, Based On experience and region

Position Overview

This is an active, hands-on role that combines mentorship, enrichment, recreation, and academic support. We are looking for positive, energetic team members who enjoy working with school-age children and creating meaningful connections every day.

Key Responsibilities

Student Engagement & Support

• Build positive relationships with students and create a welcoming environment.
• Serve as a role model by promoting respect, responsibility, and resilience.
• Support students through positive behavior guidance and conflict resolution.
• Ensure student safety and well-being at all times.

Program Delivery

• Lead engaging enrichment, recreation, and team-building activities.
• Facilitate homework help and academic support sessions.
• Participate in games, fitness activities, and outdoor play.
• Help students develop social-emotional and leadership skills.

Program Operations

• Assist with daily program setup and cleanup.
• Support student check-in, attendance, and dismissal procedures.
• Maintain an organized, safe, and positive learning environment.
• Follow all company policies, licensing requirements, and safety procedures.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience working with children in schools, childcare programs, camps, recreation programs, or youth organizations preferred.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.

• Positive attitude, patience, and a genuine passion for youth development.
• CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain) preferred.

State Qualifications

Candidates must be 18 years old and have 240 hours of experience working in a licensed childcare facility AND have one of the following:

1. Four credits in school-age child growth and development or its equivalent.
2. The first 2 courses of the Registry Afterschool & Youth Development Credential.
3. Two noncredit department-approved courses for school-age program and group

Physical Requirements

• Ability to actively participate in indoor and outdoor activities.
• Ability to stand, walk, and move throughout program hours.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 30 pounds occasionally.
