Job summary

Innovation Learning is seeking a part-time Resilience Coach for the 2026-2027 school year, based at Westfield School in Winthrop Harbor, IL. The role supports students before/after school, with mornings at Westfield and afternoons at St. Patrick's in Wadsworth.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 18 years old or older
• Experience working with children in schools, childcare programs, camps, recreation programs, or youth organizations preferred.
• Prior leadership experience in a childcare setting is a strong plus!
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
• Positive attitude, patience, and a genuine passion for youth development.
• CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain) preferred.

Responsibilities

Location: School-Based Program Site - Westfield School in Winthrop Harbor, IL

Reports To: Head Coach/Site Leadership

Schedule: Part-Time (Before & After School Programs, School Breaks, and Summer Programs)

Monday-Friday: 6:45AM-8:00AM at Westfield Elementary School in Winthrop Harbor

Wednesdays: 2:15PM-5:30PM at St. Patricks in Wadsworth

We are looking for candidates who are available to work the above schedule. Additional afternoon hours may be available at Westfield (M, T, Th, F) on a substitute/on-call basis.

Pay: $19-21/hour, based on experience and region
