Job summary

Innovation Learning Inc. is seeking a part-time Resilience Coach to support before and after school programming at Voyager Academy.

The role focuses on creating a safe, engaging environment where students build confidence, life skills, and resilience through mentorship and academic support. The position involves leading enrichment activities, homework help, and supervision during breaks, with a schedule roughly 6:30 AM–8:15 AM and 3:45 PM–6:00 PM, Monday through Friday; pay ranges from $30–$35

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Must have completed the Basic School-Age Care (BSAC) training.
• 2 semester hours in child/youth development AND 2 semester hours in school-age programming.
• Experience working with children in schools, childcare programs, camps, recreation programs, or youth organizations preferred.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
• Positive attitude, patience, and a genuine passion for youth development.
• CPR/First Aid certification preferred.

School-Based Program Site This position will support before and after school programming at Voyager Academy, which supports elementary and middle/high school students.

Reports To:

Head Coach/Site Leadership

Schedule:

Part-Time (Before & After School Programs, School Breaks, and Summer Programs) Monday-Friday: 6:30AM-8:15AM and 3:45PM-6:00PM**schedule may vary slightly based on location

Pay:

Based on experience and region

$30-35/hour (non-certified teachers - requires only Basic School Aged Care training)
Certified teachers may be eligible for an increase in hourly pay
