Job summary

Right At School is seeking a Program Manager to drive a safe, engaging after-school program in Port Washington, NY. You will supervise staff, manage attendance and licensing requirements, and coach the team to deliver high-quality activities for children.

The role emphasizes strong communication with families and coordination with the Area Manager to meet program goals and ensure compliance with state rules.

Qualifications

• New York state requirements must be met prior to employment.
• First Aid and CPR in-person are required.
• 2 years direct experience with children under 13, incl. 1 year in supervision.
• Associate degree or higher in relevant field is expected.

Responsibilities

• Model safety and joy standards and coach staff to maintain them.
• Maintain site records, licensing documents, and attendance policies.
• Communicate with families, clients, peers, and children clearly.
• Keep daily activities and curriculum engaging and safe.
• Ensure timely completion of program tasks and reporting.
