Job summary

Right At School is seeking an Educator to join our before- and after-school program in Pennsylvania. Schedule is Monday–Friday with split shifts: morning 07:15–09:00 and afternoon 15:15–18:00, up to 22.5 hours per week. Pay rate ranges from $15.00 to $18.00 per hour, depending on education and experience.

You will lead activities, ensure safety, and foster a love of learning while partnering with schools and families to provide enriching experiences in a kid-friendly setting.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma / GED with 30 college credits in early childhood ed, child dev, special ed, elementary ed, or human services.
• HS Diploma / GED with 600+ hours of secondary training.
• HS Diploma / GED, 15 credit hours in early childhood ed, child dev, special ed, elementary ed, or human services + 1 year of experience.
• ARHS Diploma / GED + 2 years experience.
• First Aid and CPR in-person.
• 18+ years of age.
• CDA Preferred.

Responsibilities

• Daily Program Meetings: review goals, updates, ideas, and progress with the team.
• Organize and Facilitate Daily Activities: plan curriculum and activities aligned with objectives.
• Leading by Example: maintain a safe, nurturing environment and model positive guidance.
• Prioritize Safety and Joy: monitor environment, document attendance and incidents.
• Communication: interact with children, parents, staff, and school personnel.
