Job summary

Right At School in Pennsylvania is seeking an Educator to support elementary students in before- and after-school programs. You will lead curriculum-aligned activities, supervise safety, and collaborate with school staff to create a joyful learning environment.

This role requires customer service, teamwork, and at least one year of experience with children; lifting up to 25 lbs; hours Monday through Friday, with early morning and late afternoon shifts, and a compensation of $15–$18 per hour.

Qualifications

• Outstanding customer service and relationship-building skills.
• Works well in a team environment.
• At least 1 year of experience working with children under 13 years of age.
• Ability to lift 25 lbs.
• Drive inspired by learning and healthy living.
• Flexibility to support additional local programs as needed.

Responsibilities

• Daily Program Meetings: Review goals, share ideas, discuss professional progress and encourage collaboration.
• Organize and facilitate daily activities: Prepare and lead curriculum-aligned activities that are educational and enjoyable.
• Lead by example: Model positive guidance and effective classroom management in a safe, nurturing environment.
• Prioritize safety and joy: Monitor the environment, address hazards and follow safety protocols, including documentation of attendance and incidents.
• Communicate effectively with children, parents, staff, and school personnel.
