Job summary

Right At School is hiring an Educator in Pennsylvania to support before- and after-school programs. The role focuses on engaging activities, curriculum alignment, and creating a safe, joyful learning environment for children up to age 12. Expect to lead daily activities and participate in program meetings.

Pay ranges from $15.00 to $18.00 per hour based on education and experience. Bonuses up to $1,250 in the first 90 days are available.

Qualifications

• Outstanding customer service and relationship-building skills.
• Works well in a team environment.
• At least 1 year of experience working with children under 13.
• Ability to lift 25lbs.
• Drive to inspire a love for learning and healthy living.
• Flexibility to support additional local programs as needed.

Responsibilities

• Daily Program Meetings: review goals, updates, ideas, progress, collaboration, and accountability.
• Organize and Facilitate Daily Activities: prepare activities and curriculum aligned to objectives; lead structured daily fitness and curriculum.
• Leading by Example: maintain a safe, nurturing environment and meet program goals.
• Prioritize Safety and Joy: monitor environment, address hazards, document attendance and incidents.
• Communication: effective communication with children, parents, staff, and school personnel.

HS Diploma / GED + 30 college credits in early childhood ed, child dev, special ed, elementary ed, or human services

HS Diploma / GED + 600 hours of secondary training
