Job summary

Right At School in Pennsylvania is seeking an Educator to support before- and after-school programs, delivering engaging activities and safe supervision that fosters a lifelong love of learning for children. Schedule is Monday through Friday, 2:45 PM–6:00 PM, up to 16.25 hours per week, with pay of $15.00–$18.00 per hour, depending on education and experience.

Candidates must meet state requirements, including First Aid/CPR, TB clearance, and 18+ years old, with a HS diploma/GED and related

Qualifications

• 1+ year of experience working with children under 13 years of age
• Ability to lift 25lbs
• First Aid and CPR in-person required
• Cleared tuberculosis test
• 18+ years of age
• HS Diploma / GED + 30 college credits in early childhood ed, child dev, special ed, elementary ed, or the human services field
• OR HS Diploma / GED with 600+ hours of secondary training
• OR HS Diploma / GED, 15 credit hours in early childhood ed, child dev, special ed, elementary ed, or the human services field + 1 year of experience
• ArHS Diploma / GED + 2 years experience
• CDA preferred

Responsibilities

• Daily Program Meetings: review goals and updates, share ideas, discuss progress and accountability
• Organize and Facilitate Daily Activities: plan curriculum and activities aligned with objectives
• Leading by Example: maintain safe, nurturing environment and positive guidance
• Prioritize Safety and Joy: monitor environment and follow safety protocols
• Communication: interact with children, parents, staff, and school personnel
