Job summary

Right At School in Pennsylvania (Mill Run) is seeking an Educator to join our before- and after-school program. You will plan and lead daily activities, ensure safety, and reinforce a love of learning while partnering with families and school staff.

Pay rate is $15.00-$18.00 per hour based on education and experience, with hours 6:30 AM - 8:30 AM and 3:30 PM - 6:30 PM, Monday through Friday. Applicants should be enthusiastic, team oriented, and capable of lifting up to 25 pounds.

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service and relationship-building.
• Team-oriented and collaborative.
• At least 1 year of experience working with children under 13 years old.
• Ability to lift 25 lbs.
• Drive to inspire a love for learning and commitment to healthy living.
• Flexibility to support additional local programs as needed.

Responsibilities

• Daily Program Meetings: review goals, updates, progress, and foster collaboration and accountability.
• Organize and Facilitate Daily Activities: plan curriculum and activities aligned with program goals and make them engaging.
• Leading by Example: maintain a safe, nurturing environment with positive guidance and classroom management.
• Prioritize Safety and Joy: monitor for hazards and follow safety protocols; document attendance and incidents.
• Communication: effectively engage children, parents, staff, and school personnel.
