After-School All-Stars LA is seeking a part-time Program Leader in Los Angeles to support academic, cultural and recreational enrichment for youth. The role operates under the Program Coordinator, ensuring a safe, engaging environment that educates and inspires students in a school setting.

Core hours are 2:00 PM - 6:00 PM; flexibility for evenings and weekends; travel between sites may be required. Previous experience with K-12 programs is preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience working with students in grades K-12.
• Ability to work cooperatively with school staff, parents, and community.
• Familiarity with after-school program quality criteria.
• Effective communication and ability to respond to emergencies.

Responsabilités

• Lead planning and implementation of daily after-school program.
• Maintain a 20:1 student ratio with recruitment/retention strategies.
• Build positive relationships with youth, guardians, and school staff.
• Track attendance data and report program progress.
• Supervise activities to ensure a safe environment.
• Communicate with supervisor and participate in staff meetings.
• Attend professional development opportunities to grow skills.
• Supervise field trips and events as needed.
• Distribute meals per school protocols.
• Maintain program materials and space in good condition.
