Job summary

Right At School is seeking an Educator for its after-school program. The role emphasizes delivering structured activities, fostering a love of learning, and maintaining a safe, engaging environment for children after school hours.

Ideal candidates will have strong customer service skills, teamwork, and at least one year of experience with children under 13. The position runs Monday through Friday, with a pay rate of $16.00–$18.00 per hour and program hours from 2:15 PM to 6:00 PM.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of experience working with children under 13 years of age.
• Ability to lift 25 lbs.
• First Aid and CPR in-person.
• Cleared tuberculosis test; Proof of MMR.
• 18+ years of age; High School diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

• Review goals and updates daily; foster collaboration and accountability.
• Prepare and lead curriculum activities aligned with program objectives.
• Model positive guidance and safe, nurturing behavior for children.
• Monitor safety, address hazards, and document attendance and incidents.
• Communicate effectively with children, parents, staff, and school personnel.
