Job summary

Park View Nursing and Subacute in Reseda, CA is seeking a part-time Admissions Assistant to join our team. You will work with the Business Development function to attract candidates for admission, conduct tours, and handle pre-admission interviews with prospective residents and their families.

You will manage inquiries from phone, email, and in person, review information, and coordinate with leadership on admission decisions.

Qualifications

• Must have 2–4 years related experience in long-term care or skilled nursing.
• Understanding of healthcare reimbursement programs.
• Must have valid driver’s license and clean DMV record.
• Compassion toward residents and families.
• Knowledge of nursing practices, procedures, terminology, laws and regulations related to long-term care.
• Bachelor’s degree in marketing/communications or equivalent.
• 1–2 years of Customer Service / Receptionist experience.
• Strong background in skilled nursing care.

Responsibilities

• Attract suitable candidates for admission and integrate them into the system.
• Establish and maintain relationships with referral sources and conduct tours/pre-admission interviews.
• Review inquiries and admissions for suitability with Administrator, Director of Nursing, and Business Office Manager.
