Somerset Solders Ltd, incorporating Somerset Workwear, is a growing business supplying across electronics, construction, medical and transport sectors. We seek an experienced Accounts Administrator to join our small team for a permanent part-time role, 16 hours per week with flexible hours and hybrid options to discuss.

The role covers day-to-day bookkeeping, ledgers, VAT, reconciliations and month-end support.

Qualifications

• At least two years' experience in bookkeeping or a similar accounting role.
• Experience with Xero is essential.
• Comfortable working independently across day-to-day accounting tasks.

Responsabilités

• Maintaining sales and purchase ledgers.
• Credit control and customer statements.
• Bank and nominal ledger reconciliations.
• Resolving supplier and customer invoice queries.
• Preparing and submitting VAT returns, ensuring VAT is correctly accounted for.
• Liaising with colleagues, customers and suppliers on accounts matters.
• Supporting month-end accounting processes / reporting to management.
