Job summary

Arlington Resource Management is seeking a Part Time / Hybrid Financial Accountant / Finance Manager to oversee the low-volume accounting for around 10 statutory entities / SPVs across 3-4 days per week.

The role involves Xero and Sage bookkeeping, processing monthly transactions, bank reconciliations, VAT returns, intercompany activity, and monthly management accounts. Reports to owners and an external accountant with potential for ad hoc analysis.

Qualifications

• Experience in private property investment accounting or practice is advantageous.
• Qualified or QBE with multi-entity exposure preferred.
• Proficient in monthly close, VAT returns and statutory filings.

Responsibilities

• Oversee low-volume accounting for ~10 entities/SPVs.
• Process payables/receivables; perform monthly reconciliations.
• Prepare monthly management accounts; year-end files for auditors.
• Manage intercompany transactions and ad hoc financial analysis.

Part Time / Hybrid role - Financial Accountant - This private Property investment company is seeking an experienced stand-alone Financial Accountant / Finance Manager to oversee the low-volume / group accounting for around 10 statutory entities / SPVs (3-4 days a week or 4-5 short days)

This Financial Accountant / Finance Manager role, reporting to the owners and an external accountant will involve:

• Working with Xero and Sage bookkeeping / accounting software
• Processing a small volume of monthly transactions, both payables and receivables
• Monthly bank reconciliations and preparing and submitting VAT returns
• Balance sheet reconciliations and supporting schedules
• Managing multi-entity intercompany transactions and reconciliations
• Producing monthly management accounts
• Prepare year-end files and information for the auditors
• Ad hoc financial analysis and financial modelling when required

This part time Financial Accountant / Finance Manager would suit an experienced accountant, either qualified (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, ACMA) or Qualified by Experience. Previous exposure to multiple entities would be useful. Experience in Property or an Accountancy Practice would be useful. 3-4 days a week or 4-5 short days
