The role of Client Bookkeeper will include:

• Managing day-to-day bookkeeping for a varied portfolio of clients
• Maintaining accounts payable and accounts receivable records
• Completing bank reconciliations and ensuring financial information remains accurate and up to date
• Preparing VAT returns and assisting clients with their ongoing VAT obligations
• Supporting the wider accounting team with additional accounting and bookkeeping duties
• Liaising with clients and colleagues to ensure deadlines are met and records are maintained to a high standard

The successful Client Bookkeeper will have previous bookkeeping experience gained within an accountancy practice and be comfortable managing multiple client relationships simultaneously.

You may be part-qualified, fully AAT qualified or qualified through experience. Strong organisational skills, attention to detail and the ability to communicate effectively with both clients and colleagues will be essential.
