Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a part-time security professional in New Jersey to provide security and access-control services at a logistics and distribution site. You will assist employees, visitors, drivers and vendors, monitor entry points, and document activities to maintain safety and compliance.

The role requires at least 2 years of security experience and a high school diploma. A background check and drug screening are required, with licensing as applicable.

Qualifications

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, drivers, and vendors by carrying out access-control procedures.
• Be able to monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and logs, and control access to restricted areas.
• Respond to incidents and emergencies in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct patrols of access points, loading areas, and perimeter as required by location.
• Document activities and incidents per site procedures.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, drivers, and vendors by carrying out access-control procedures.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and delivery appointments, maintain logs, and control access to restricted areas.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner and notify site contacts or responders as directed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, loading areas, parking lots, and perimeters.
• Document security-related activities and incidents accurately and promptly per site procedures.
