Job summary

Allied Universal, a leading security services provider, seeks a Part Time Security Officer Access Authorization in the Bronx, NY. You will manage entry points, verify credentials, log visitors, and deter incidents while delivering excellent customer service in a professional environment.

Hours are scheduled on a part-time basis with pay between $18.30 and $19.30 per hour. A background check and drug screen are required, with licensing as applicable.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum age 18 for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Background investigation and drug screen required by law and policy.
• Guard card or license preferred where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, contractors, visitors, and delivery personnel per site procedures.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials, maintain logs, and direct visitors.
• Respond calmly to alarms and incidents, escalating as directed by procedures.
• Conduct patrols of entrances, gates, facilities, and perimeter areas.
• Maintain accurate access-control records including badge issuance and incident docs.
