Allied Universal is seeking a part-time Security Officer Access Control at our Murfreesboro, TN site. You will help manage entry points, verify credentials, monitor access, and uphold a welcoming, safe environment for employees, visitors and drivers.

As an Access Control Officer at a busy logistics location, you will provide customer service, respond to incidents, patrol areas, and follow site procedures. Pay rate is $16.33 per hour; schedule includes Sat and Sun night shifts.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check per federal, state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applicants with criminal histories.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing may be required prior to employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and personnel at a logistics and distribution location by carrying out security-related procedures and site policies.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials and deliveries, and control entry and exit of authorized individuals and vehicles.
• Observe inbound/outbound traffic, document activity, and report security concerns to site contacts.
• Respond to incidents calmly and follow established protocols, contacting emergency services as needed.
• Conduct regular patrols of access points, loading areas, parking areas, and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.
