Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background investigation required by federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applicants with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and personnel at a logistics and distribution location by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials and delivery appointments, and control entry/exit of authorized personnel and vehicles.
• Observe inbound and outbound traffic, document visitor and vehicle activity, and report access-control concerns to site contacts.
• Respond to incidents in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols and contacting emergency services when appropriate.
• Conduct regular patrols of access points, loading areas, parking areas, and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.
