Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer – Access Point Security Enhanced Part Time in Murfreesboro, TN. The role offers fixed shifts with the option to pick up additional shifts to increase earnings, designed for flexible, dependable part-time work.

Pay rate is $16.33 per hour with a typical Tue 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM schedule. A six-month anchor shift commitment is required, with opportunities to grow and earn more across sites.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check conducted per federal/state/local laws.
• Drug screening required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply; driver’s license for driving positions.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and drivers by carrying out security procedures and emergency actions at a logistics and distribution location.
• Control access by verifying credentials and monitoring entry/exit points; document activity per site procedures.
• Monitor access-control systems, alarms, and cameras; report issues to appropriate contacts.
• Respond to incidents calmly and follow site protocols; contact emergency services/management as directed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, loading areas, parking areas and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.
