Qualifications

• Possess at least 1 year of law enforcement experience, 2 years of security supervisor or manager experience, or 3 years of security-related experience.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• A state, county, or city-issued security license is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, employees, visitors, and vendors by carrying out access-control procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at a financial institution location.
• Monitor and control access to the facility by verifying identification, issuing and collecting visitor credentials, maintaining visitor logs, and directing guests according to established procedures.
• Respond to access-control alarms, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and documenting activities as required.
• Monitor entry points, reception areas, and access-control systems for unauthorized access or unusual activity, helping to deter unauthorized entry.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas, entrances, and the business perimeter, reporting maintenance concerns, access-control issues, and suspicious conditions.
