Qualifications

At least 1 year of law enforcement experience, 2 years of security-related supervisor/manager experience, or 3 years of security-related experience.
High school diploma or equivalent.
State, county, or city-issued security license preferred.
Access control and badge experience preferred.
Background check and drug screen required as a condition of employment.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients, employees, visitors, and vendors by carrying out access-control procedures and site policies.
Monitor and control access to the facility by verifying identification and directing guests per procedures.
Respond to access-control alarms, incidents, and critical situations calmly and document activities.
Monitor entry points, reception areas, and access-control systems for unauthorized access or unusual activity.
Conduct regular patrols and report maintenance concerns or security issues.
