Job summary

Ascentria Care Alliance in Massachusetts is seeking a part-time Skills Trainer in Brockton to support children, families, and individuals with autism and other needs.

You will deliver 1:1 supports, facilitate play to reinforce skills, assist with ADLs/IADLs, and advocate for clients in home and community, with schedule Thu 3pm-8pm, Sat 3pm-8pm, Sun 8am-4pm.

Qualifications

• A high School Diploma is required.
• At least 1 year experience in ABA field strongly preferred.
• BCBA or ABA certification highly preferred.
• Knowledge of American Sign Language (ASL) strongly preferred.
• Familiarity with concepts related to neurodiversity strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver 1:1 supports with significant consideration to sensory sensitivities.
• Facilitate productive play activities to teach and reinforce skills development.
• Teach and support individuals in the home and community with ADLs/IADLs.
• Advocate for individuals and families at various community levels.
• Support participation in social and recreational activities to build networks.
• Coordinate with other providers and families to implement treatment plans.
• Respect client rights, privacy, and adhere to regulations at all times.
