Job summary

Waystone Health & Human Services seeks a compassionate Skills Trainer to work 1:1 with individuals and families, delivering ABA in home and community settings in Massachusetts. The role is on-site in family homes across Acton, Beverly, Boxford, Concord, Dracut, Haverhill, Lawrence, Lowell, North Andover, and more.

The position is per diem and non-exempt, offering 3–6 hours per week based on family and supervisor schedules. A Bachelor’s or relevant experience with ASD is required, plus driving.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in education or related field required.
• High School Diploma or GED with 2+ years’ experience with ASD or disabilities acceptable.
• RBT certificate or SPED paraprofessional experience a plus.
• Experience with ABA Home-Based services or related field preferred.
• Reading, writing and comprehension of English required.
• Minimum of one year of driving experience with a valid license.

Responsibilities

• Implement goals and benchmarks to address behavior in home/community 1:1 with student and family using ABA.
• Collect data on goals/benchmarks and report monthly to the Behaviorist.
• Be flexible with routines to meet student needs while preserving program integrity.
• Discuss schedule changes with Service Navigator and submit timecards on time.
• Consult with behaviorists/Service Navigators on mid-year and year-end reports.
