Ascentria Care Alliance is hiring a part-time Skills Trainer in Norwood, MA. You will deliver 1:1 supports with attention to sensory needs, guide skill development through play, and assist with ADLs/IADLs in home and community settings.

The role emphasizes advocacy, community engagement, and collaboration with families and providers to implement treatment plans, while ensuring client dignity and privacy.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• ABA experience preferred, BCBA/ABA certification desired.
• ASL knowledge preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver 1:1 supports with consideration to sensory sensitivities.
• Facilitate productive play activities to reinforce skills.
• Support individuals in home and community with ADLs/IADLs.
• Advocate for individuals and families at community levels.
• Encourage participation in social and recreational activities.
• Coordinate with service providers and families for treatment planning.
