Job summary

Butterfly Effects is seeking Child Interventionists/Behavior Technicians, including entry-level and experienced candidates, to support children with autism in ABA-based interventions. You will implement plans under a BCBA, observe progress, and help children build communication, social, and self-care skills.

This part-time role offers 12–20 hours per week with a supportive team and opportunities to pursue BCBA growth.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Registered Behavior Technician Certification if already obtained.
• Passion for working with children.
• Strong interpersonal skills for working with children and families.
• Valid driver’s license, personal vehicle & auto insurance.
• Tablet or Laptop computer for sessions (not just a smartphone).

Responsibilities

• Implements individualized treatment plans under the direction of a BCBA.
• Observes and reports on client progress daily.
• Manages challenging behaviors.
• Applies behavioral principles consistently in interactions with clients.
• Assists clients to acquire academic or life skills.
• Communicates professionally with parents, analysts, trainers, and clients.
• Completes daily paperwork and data collection in our online system.
• Participates in continuous training programs to increase skills.
