Job summary

Butterfly Effects is seeking dedicated Child Interventionists/Behavior Technicians, including entry-level candidates, to support children with autism in honing communication, social, and self-care skills through ABA-based plans.

This part-time role offers 12–20 hours per week with the potential to grow into RBT certification and BCBA pathways, backed by our training and financial assistance. Join a team focused on bringing calm, protection, and joy to families.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification if already obtained.
• Genuine love for working with children.
• Strong interpersonal skills for working with children and families.
• Prior experience with children is advantageous.
• Interest in ongoing development.
• Valid driver’s license and access to personal vehicle.
• Must have a tablet or laptop to use during sessions.

Responsibilities

• Implements individualized treatment plans under the direction of a BCBA.
• Observes, records, and reports on client's progress daily.
• Manages challenging behaviors.
• Applies behavioral principles consistently in all interactions with clients.
• Assists clients to acquire academic and/or life skills as needed.
• Communicates professionally with parents, analysts/consultants, trainers, and clients.
• Functions as an active member of the treatment team.
• Completes daily paperwork and data collection notes in our online database.
• Participates in continuous training to increase skills.
• Maintains confidentiality of client information.
• Follows Butterfly Effects policies and procedures.
