Job summary

Butterfly Effects seeks dedicated Behavior Technicians to support children with autism by implementing ABA-based plans under BCBA supervision. You will help develop communication, social interaction, and self-care skills in collaboration with families.

The position offers part-time hours (9–15 per week) with multiple schedule options. Eligibility includes completing the 40‑hour RBT course or holding RBT certification, with company support for ongoing training.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
• Passion for working with children.
• Positive attitude and good interpersonal skills.
• Prior experience with children is advantageous.
• Willingness to learn and develop skills.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Able to pass a criminal background check.

Responsibilities

• Implements individualized treatment plans under BCBA supervision.
• Observes, records, and reports progress daily.
• Manages challenging behaviors.
• Applies behavioral principles consistently in interactions.
• Assists clients to acquire academic and life skills.
• Communicates professionally with parents and team.
• Functions as an active treatment team member.
• Completes daily paperwork and data entry in online system.
• Participates in ongoing training to improve skills.
• Maintains client confidentiality and follows policies.
