Job summary

Butterfly Effects, a pediatric ABA provider, is seeking dedicated Child Interventionists/Behavior Technicians or Registered Behavior Technicians (RBT) for a part-time role in Chesapeake, VA. You will support children with autism, implement ABA plans, and partner with families to foster communication, social skills and independence.

The position offers 12–20 hours weekly, competitive hourly pay, and opportunities for education and BCBA pathway advancement with company support and tuition

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• RBT certification if already obtained; otherwise pursuing certification encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Implements individualized treatment plans under BCBA supervision.
• Observes, records, and reports client progress and behavior daily.
• Manages challenging behaviors.
• Applies behavioral principles consistently in interactions with clients.
• Assists clients to acquire academic and life skills.
• Communicates professionally with parents, analysts, and clients.
• Completes daily paperwork and data collection in our online system.
• Participates in ongoing training to increase skills.
