Job summary

Alora Behavioral Health in California is hiring Behavior Technicians (BTs) to provide one-on-one ABA therapy to children and individuals with autism and related developmental disabilities. The role offers part-time afternoon and evening shifts with paid training and opportunities for career growth through Milestone Moments.

We support your development with mentorship from BCBAs, potential RBT exam reimbursement, and flexible scheduling.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience working with children in professional, educational, caregiving, or similar settings preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Available for at least 15 hours per week, afternoons/evenings, with a consistent schedule.
• Valid driver's license and auto insurance.
• Strong communication, organization, and documentation skills.
• Must pass pre-employment screening including background TB test and health documentation.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one ABA therapy under supervision of a BCBA or clinical supervisor.
• Help clients develop communication, social, behavioral, and daily living skills.
• Implement individualized treatment plans with evidence-based ABA strategies and positive behavior support.
• Collect session data, track progress, and complete clinical documentation.
• Deliver services in clients' homes, schools, communities, clinics, or other settings.
• Collaborate with supervisors, BCBAs, caregivers, and team members to support client progress.
• Participate in ongoing training and professional development.
