Job summary

Wing is seeking a sUAS Flight Operator to join our Flight Operations team for a 36-month fixed-term contract in the Durham, NC area. You’ll operate multiple highly autonomous small unmanned aircraft systems as part of Wing’s Part 135 drone delivery service, reporting to the Chief Pilot.

Experience in safety-critical industries is valued. You will meet qualification requirements, maintain English communication, and participate in training.

Qualifications

• Current FAA Part 107 Remote Pilot certificate.
• 3+ years experience with commercial/public UAS operations or university-level aviation training.
• Ability to communicate clearly in English, both spoken and written.

Responsibilities

• Qualify and function as a Part 135 sUAS Flight Operator for Wing’s drone delivery service.
• Operate the system with a team of technicians and field operators.
• Maintain daily readiness of Remote Operations Center and safety standards.
• Report to Chief Pilot and coordinate with Flight Operations Manager.
• Support safe, reliable daily operations including weekend/holiday coverage.
