Job summary

The Village of Ruidoso is seeking a maintenance worker to care for parks, facilities and equipment under general supervision. You will support department activities, programs and events, and assist with pool startup and upkeep.

Qualifications include a High School Diploma or equivalent and two years of manual labor experience. Applicants must pass criminal history and drug tests and maintain insurability as required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent and two years of manual labor experience.
• Prefer experience in building maintenance.
• Must pass criminal history checks and drug/alcohol tests.
• Must maintain satisfactory MVR and insurability as required by law.

Responsibilities

• Maintains Village parks, facilities and equipment.
• Performs janitorial duties including restroom cleaning.
• Mows, trims, rakes pine needles and removes litter.
• Assists with programs, events and pool startup/maintenance.
• Operates landscaping tools and equipment.
