Job summary

Village of Ruidoso seeks a Heavy Equipment Operator to run a range of heavy and light equipment for water and sewer maintenance and related construction projects.

Qualifications

• High school education or equivalent required.
• New Mexico Class B CDL preferred; valid license required.
• Ability to pass criminal history checks and drug/alcohol testing.

Responsibilities

• Operate heavy and light equipment such as snow removal equipment, dozer, loader, dump truck, vactor truck, and backhoes for utilities maintenance and construction.
• Install water and sewer lines, repair leaks, dig trenches, and perform routine maintenance on vehicles and equipment.
• Assist other departments with construction and labor tasks and maintain daily work logs and timesheets.
