Qualifications

• Knowledge of landscaping and grounds maintenance principles, practices, techniques, and equipment.
• Experience supervising inmate labor.
• Possession of or ability to obtain a valid driver's license (GA).
• Possession of or ability to obtain a valid CDL (GA).

Responsibilities

• Plans and directs daily, weekly, and monthly maintenance schedules.
• Analyzes equipment requirements and recommends purchases.
• Attends meetings to discuss work problems, policy changes, and safety guidelines.
• Receives and acts on requests or complaints from departments and the public.
• Supervises work crews and equipment maintenance for park projects.
• Coordinates athletic fields preparation before and after events.
• Inspects playground equipment and oversees repairs.
• Supervises carpentry repairs in park facilities.
• Performs related duties as assigned.
