SP+, a Metropolis company, is seeking an Operations Manager in Newark, NJ to lead a multi-site parking operations team. You will ensure client satisfaction, drive efficiency, and maintain safety and budget controls.

You will hire and develop staff, oversee cash handling, procurement, payroll, and daily accounting tasks, and implement policies to meet OSHA requirements while optimizing profitability.

Qualifications

• Leads, manages, and motivates a diverse team.
• Delivers best possible customer experience and client satisfaction.
• Experience developing budgets and reviewing P&L.
• Ability to react quickly and solve problems.
• Proficient with common software such as Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Deliver on our Promise by resolving client requests efficiently and communicating proactively to improve operations.
• Hire, develop, train, and supervise a diverse team; identify staffing levels to deliver superior experience.
• Ensure proper parking, security, and cash control procedures.
• Maximize profitability through revenue development, marketing, cash controls, expense reviews, and budgeting.
• Identify procurement and vendor service needs for the location.
• Perform general accounting duties including accounts payable, payroll, and petty cash.
• Monitor facility maintenance for cleanliness standards.
• Review damage claims and implement safety improvement plans.
• Implement policies to ensure OSHA compliance.
