Job summary

Metropolis Technologies seeks a frontline Operations Assistant to help manage parking locations, ensuring smooth daily operations and client relations. You will assist with customer service, maintenance coordination, and adherence to policy in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires a high school diploma and reliable driving; strong communication and problem-solving skills are essential. Local LA area presence and willingness to work varied hours are preferred.

Qualifications

• Education/Experience: Minimal high school diploma or equivalent and minimal related experience or training.
• Oral communication: Speaks clearly; listens and clarifies.
• Written communication: Writes clearly and informatively; reads information.
• Customer service: Maintains positive attitude and responds to requests.
• Adaptability: Adapts to changes in the work environment and to delays or unexpected events.
• Judgment: Exhibits sound and accurate judgment.
• License requirement: Valid state-issued driver’s license with current address and good driving record.

Responsibilities

• Assist in day-to-day management of a location ensuring parking operations follow contractual guidelines.
• Participate in programs to improve client and customer satisfaction.
• Assist with management duties at assigned locations.
• Courteously assist customers.
• Assist in maintenance and repair of parking equipment and general tasks as directed by the Facility Manager.
• Report accidents or policy violations to the Facility Manager.
• Assist with debris cleanup and other duties as needed.
• Know all areas of the garage and major surrounding streets.
