Job summary

SP+, a Metropolis company, is seeking a location operations assistant in Portland, OR. You will help manage daily parking operations, ensure client satisfaction, and support the Facility Manager with staff scheduling and reports.

The role requires a high school diploma and at least six months of parking experience. Availability for varied shifts and a valid driver’s license are needed to succeed in this position.

Qualifications

• Education/Experience Required: High School Graduate. A minimum of six months of parking experience preferred.
• Availability to Work: Special shift requirements, if any, will vary depending on location hiring needs. If applicable, availability to work 2nd/3rd shift and/or weekends may be required.
• License Requirement: Must possess a valid state-issued driver’s license with current address and acceptable driving record.
• Oral Communication: Speaks clearly; Listens and gets clarification; Responds well to questions.
• Written Communication: Writes clearly and informatively; Able to read and interpret written information.
• Customer Service: Have a strong customer orientation and positive attitude. Able to respond to requests for service and assistance.

Responsibilities

• Participate in programs to improve client and customer satisfaction.
• Engage in the development of property level financial and operational goals.
• Assist in the management of day-to-day activities of the assigned locations including customer interaction, scheduling staff, and preparing monthly reports.
• Assist Facility Manager with upkeep of parking equipment and general maintenance tasks.
• Report accidents, safety hazards, or policy violations to the Facility Manager.
• Assist with debris cleanup and maintain knowledge of garage layout and major streets in the area.
