Job summary

SP+ is hiring a Parking Attendant in Tysons, VA. You will direct customers to available parking spaces, count vehicles on site, and issue warnings for policy violations while patrolling levels on foot or with motor carts.

You will also assist customers who cannot locate their vehicles and ensure the lot is clean and presentable. The role requires reliability, the ability to stand for long periods, a valid driver’s license if driving company vehicles, and availability for second/third shifts or

Qualifications

• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
• Ability to write simple correspondence.
• Ability to effectively present information in one‑on‑one situations to customers and other employees.

Responsibilities

• Direct incoming customers to available parking spaces.
• Count vehicles on location throughout shift.
• Write and issue violation warnings to tenants and visitors that violate garage policies.
• Patrol transient and reserved parking levels on foot or in customized motor carts, if applicable.
• Provide assistance to customers that have forgotten where they parked their vehicle.
• Be punctual and in uniform on scheduled days.
• Assist customers by answering questions or directing them to the Facility Manager.
• Control traffic at entrances and exits as needed.
• Assist in maintenance and repair of parking equipment and general maintenance tasks as directed by the Facility Manager.
• Report accidents, safety hazards or policy violations to the Facility Manager.
