The ideal candidate will demonstrate independence, strong customer service, and the ability to walk long distances in all weather. Positions may require weekend and evening shifts; drivers must have a valid license. Benefits are available.

Qualifications

• Independent judgment and high level of customer service.
• Knowledge of local geography and parking rules.
• Ability to operate a motorized vehicle or bicycle.
• Experience using a handheld computer.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• Willingness to work 2nd/3rd shifts and weekends if needed.

Responsibilities

• Monitor streets, lots, garages or campus to enforce parking policies.
• Provide directions and answer questions about parking.
• Issue citations or warnings; impound or relocate vehicles as directed.
• Assist with maintenance of meters, machines and signage.
• Assist event staff with parking for events and lot usage control.
• Assist with permit sales and data entry during peak seasons.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Note: Enforcers are not sworn police officers and have no arrest authority.
