Job summary

SP+, a Metropolis company, is seeking a Cashier to deliver a fast, friendly parking experience at our facilities. You will receive payments, issue tickets, balance cash each shift, and help customers navigate the lot.

The role requires reliable attendance, basic math and communication skills, a valid driver's license if driving company vehicles, and the ability to work varying shifts including evenings and weekends. Training provided; benefits apply.

Qualifications

• Education/experience as described in the posting.
• Ability to perform essential duties with minimal supervision.
• Basic math and ability to make change.
• Clear communication with customers and coworkers.
• Ability to operate a cash register and handling of receipts.

Responsibilities

• Treat each customer with respect and kindness; deliver on the SP+ Promise.
• Be at work on time, in uniform, ready to assist customers.
• Count bank at start of shift and ensure starting total is correct.
• Collect cash and validations; maintain cash security.
• Issue receipts or tickets for each transaction; compute costs accurately.
• Operate cash register and display transaction cost to customer.
• Quote prices for parking services and provide directions to locations.
• Assist customers in locating city locations; resolve complaints quickly.
• Complete lost ticket forms when needed; maintain booth cleanliness.
• Maintain inventory of supplies and verify log of transactions.
• Prepare shift reports and record revenue accurately.
