Colonial Parking, Inc. in Washington, DC, is seeking a part-time Parking Attendant to deliver the company’s customer service standards at the entry and exit points.

You will collect payments, issue tickets, park and retrieve vehicles safely, and complete daily shift paperwork while keeping the cashier booth neat and compliant with SOPs.

Requirements include a high school diploma, one year related experience, a valid driver’s license, and strong verbal and written communication skills.

Qualifications

• A high school degree is required.
• One year related experience.
• Ability to read and comprehend verbal instructions and written correspondence.
• Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and through written correspondence.
• Have and maintain a valid driver’s license.
• Ability to safely drive a standard or automatic transmission vehicle.
• Ability to maintain a professional and friendly demeanor when working with other employees and the parking customer.
• Ability to provide customer resolution in a professional and friendly manner.

Responsabilités

• Verify the cash bank and supplies at the start of each shift.
• Issue tickets to customers recording required information.
• Park and retrieve customer vehicles safely and timely.
• Report for work on time.
• Collect payment via cash, credit card or validation per SOP.
• Process exception transactions and complete required forms.
• Provide correct change and issue receipts for all fee transactions.
• Complete daily shift paperwork with transaction and traffic data.
• Maintain a neat cashier booth and professional uniform appearance.
• Provide service standards, answer questions, and document issues for claims.
• Notify management of any situation needing attention.
• Acknowledge and sign company policies and procedures as requested.
