Job summary

Colonial Parking, Inc. in McLean, VA is seeking a Part-Time Parking Attendant to uphold our customer service standards during each parker transaction and ensure smooth entry and exit.

You will handle payments by cash or card, issue tickets, log transactions, maintain a clean cashier booth, greet customers, resolve issues, and report any problems to management. A high school diploma and a valid driver's license are required.

Qualifications

• High school degree required.
• One year related experience.
• Ability to read and comprehend verbal instructions and written correspondence.
• Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
• Have and maintain a valid driver’s license.
• Ability to safely drive a standard or automatic transmission vehicle.
• Maintain a professional, friendly demeanor with customers and coworkers.
• Provide customer resolution in a professional, friendly manner.

Responsibilities

• Issue tickets to customers and record required information.
• Park and retrieve vehicles safely and timely.
• Collect payment via cash, card, or validation as per SOPs.
• Process exception transactions (lost tickets, grace payments) as required.
• Provide correct change and issue receipts for all fees.
• Complete daily shift paperwork with transaction counts.
• Maintain a clean cashier booth and uniform appearance.
• Greet customers, answer questions, resolve issues, thank customers on exit.
