Job summary

Colonial Parking, Inc. is seeking a part-time valet attendant in Alexandria, VA. You will park and retrieve vehicles safely, assist guests in and out of cars, and maintain the valet area to ensure a smooth flow of traffic and exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities include documenting shifts, handing off keys and tickets, and reporting issues to management. A high school diploma and a valid driver’s license are required, with a preference for one year of related experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• One year of related experience preferred.
• Ability to read and comprehend verbal instructions and written correspondence.
• Effective verbal and written communication.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and be able to drive manual or automatic transmission vehicles.
• Professional and friendly demeanor when interacting with customers.
• Must be able to stand, walk, and work outdoors in various weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Park and retrieve customers’ vehicles safely and timely.
• Assist customers in and out of their vehicles, including helping with luggage.
• Maintain a clean, orderly valet stand and drive at all times.
• Issue and attach tickets; transfer keys and supporting tickets at shift change.
• Provide high standards of service with greetings, answering questions, resolving issues and thanking customers.
• Notify management of any situation that needs attention.
• Complete end-of-shift documentation and ensure accuracy of records.
• Review and acknowledge company policies and procedures as required.
